Apache Kudu is a distributed storage/database engine for fast analytics on fast data. In this talk, Mac Noland (Solutions Architect for phData) and Justin Kaiser (Data Engineer for phData) will discuss how to capture events and stream them near-real time into Apache Kudu. Mac and Justin will discuss, in detail and with code examples, how events can be available immediately for BI reporting (e.g. Tableau). Something that formerly was difficult to do in the Hadoop ecosystem.
